Expected recovery times vary from patient to patient.  You may be able to return to work as early as 2 weeks after surgery, however, full duties should not be reached for 4 weeks.  It is important to allow your body the time to heal and not over exert yourself.  You make have bruising in the face and neck area in which make up can be applied. Your final results may not be experienced for 3-6 months as swelling subsides.  Dr. McRae will advise you when you can resume exercise; this is typically around 6 week mark.
